Solitude Effect for Cello and Electronic 孤獨效應
The piece —The Prayer, is about a lonely man praying to God. Actually, I think the meaning of praying is just like the "process" of the artist creating and thinking of being alone. In the process, we would like to talk, send, and create messages to God, other people, friends, family, or even ourselves. When the process of creativity begins, the artist himself/herself will open the emotion inside, raising anything–memories, happiness, pain, homesickness......those would be the most natural partner to an artist, also the "nutrient" when a beautiful artwork to be born.
